The Seasons at Englund Estate

 Recently got married here on New Years Eve. It was fantastic. From the very first phone call with Tracy I felt an automatic connection to both the property and the owners. Tracy was so gracious and professional throughout the entire process. She also was full of knowledge regarding vendors, florists, photographers, hotel information, wedding insurance, etc. Any question we had Tracy had the answer - and all this was before the big day! For the rehearsal dinner and the wedding Tracy was perfect. We catered the rehearsal dinner through the venue and the food was amazing - absolutely delicious and they were so willing to work with us so that we could make it our own (we added a s'mores board, fireworks, etc.). The day of was perfection - not once did my husband or I have to worry about anything other than answering a question or two. The house was beautiful, clean, and the perfect size for our large wedding party. Genuinely are so happy we were able to use this venue and if we ever have the chance to work with Tracy again we would do it with no hesitation. 

 My husband and I originally planned to get married on our property, but after realizing the size, cost, and hassle of a DIY wedding, we decided to look for an all-inclusive option. The Englund Estate was the first and only venue we toured. We fell in love at first sight with the Victorian mansion and “secret garden”. 

Being a Type-A bride, I showed up with a list of questions, which Tracy was able to answer on the tour. I felt very confident leaving that day in our choice to get married here. I had never planned a wedding, and my husband had never even been to a wedding, so most of our guidance came from social media or people within our circle. I gave Tracy my Pinterest board and some other requests, and she ran with it! She coordinated with all of my vendors, even ones I hired separately. This made my life SO much easier. She and her crew worked so hard to take care of every need for the day. They handled maintenance, set-up, and clean-up, which was WONDERFUL!

Her husband, Mark was our photographer and he was SO MUCH FUN to work with. He made us laugh and never told us “no”. If we wanted pictures with specific people or in a certain spot, he was down! We can’t wait to see the photos! Our day was seamless and smooth because of this dynamic duo. They truly were a joy to work with! 

Despite it being the hottest day of the year, our guests were in awe at the property and they raved about the food, which was the Taco/Nacho Bar! And we heard nothing, but incredible things about the cake, which was gluten-free and no one even knew! I wish we could’ve taken the whole top piece home because it was the best cake I’ve ever had, but Tracy did save us a slice for our 1 year anniversary! 

I could go on and on, but our wedding was worth every penny— thanks to The Englund Estate!

 Englund Estate exceeded all of our expectations. The location was quiet, beautiful and well accommodating. It was a pleasure working with Mark and Tracy, both of whom are excellent photographers and did a wonderful job shooting our wedding and engagement session. They were professional and very easy work with. The wedding was everything we dreamed of in a southern, outdoor wedding. The ceremony and cocktail hour in the garden terrace was breathtaking. The reception in the covered dance hall was gorgeous, and large enough to accommodate all our guests, as well as our vendors including our private chef, dj and bar tender. If I could recommend an outdoor venue that fit any theme to anyone, it would be Englund Estate.

 

 We really enjoyed our time at the Englund Estate venue! It was very pretty and the staff was one of the greatest venue staff we have ever worked with! Looking forward to doing more with this wonderful venue!

 Working in the event industry, I have seen quite a few venues and I have to say, Englund Estate has made the top of my list. Not only do you have the beautiful antebellum home, but the back yard is so beautiful and magical that you won’t find something like it anywhere else. One minute I felt like I was in a romantic setting with lights strung above me and my husband and the next minute, I imagined I was in a scene from Alice in Wonderland waiting to chase a rabbit down the hole. To top it off, Mark and Tracy are very passionate people who love everything they do and put so much time and care into every aspect of their business. I’m excited to see this venue grow! 

 The Englund Estate is a perfect balance of local charm and high-end design! The property lends itself to several different types of events, but I think it’s best suited for weddings because the garden is the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony or reception! 

The owners, Tracy and Mark, have done a great job of respecting the historical integrity of the estate, while still finding ways to make it current and fun! You have to tour it to believe it!!!!!
